Sonic Cruise-In's.
Currently held at the Sonic Drive-in 1305 N Germantown
Pkwy in Cordova, TN. This is an all
Euro-Car meet. Loosely organized, it's just a place to
grab a burger or shake and hang out with other
enthusiasts. Lotus, Ferrari, Alpha Romeo, MGs, Mini
Coopers, BMW - you never know who might show. Start time
is about 6:30pm. Second
Saturdays of the month during the summer starting in
April - check the calendar for any changes!
TSD (Time, Speed, Distance) Rally. This is a test of precision
and attention to detail, not speed. All are welcome to
participate, and you'll need a driver AND a navigator.
Given a sheet of directions, you are required to
navigate a route maintaining a specific speed over a
specific distance. Not too fast, not too slow. Various
"checkpoints" are scattered on the course where you are
timed. You get points for being early or late. Points
are bad. The team closest to zero at the end is the
winner. These are a LOT of fun and get you out on some
fun roads you probably have never driven. We usually
hold one in the spring and one in the fall. Currently
our next one is tentatively scheduled for sometime in

Rally Instructions
Autocross.
Held at Millington Airport in Millington
TN. Auto Cross is a timed event on a course outlined
with orange traffic cones. Speed is kept to 50mph or
slower and involves controlling the car and not flat out
speed. This is a safe (the only thing you can hit are
cones - only 1 car on the course at a time and there are
no poles, ditches, or walls on the runway) and fun way
to push your car and your skills as far as you dare.
Build confidence and learn the limits of your car! We
hold these several times a year during the
spring, summer, and fall. Interested in being on the

Oktoberfest. Held every year by BMWCCA of North America. A
week long event of all things BMW - driving schools, club racing, auto
cross, rallies, car shows, vendors, and lots more. 2009 Oktoberfest will be
in Atlanta GA from September 28 through October 4. For more info, see their

Car Shows. Show off your BMW! Lots of shows in the Memphis
area from Spring through fall. 2 shows stand out - The Euro Fest show
sponsored by the British Car Club and held at Youth Villages in Bartlett, TN
in early October and the Cars and Cycles Against Cancer show in Blytheville,
Arkansas in June. Both are great shows and well attended.
Dinner Meetings. Held the
3rd Thursday of each month. Check the calendar for
time and location!
Spring
Cleaning/Detail Clinic. Held in the Spring -
if enough interest, we may do this again in the fall. Join us for a
Saturday of cleaning and detailing your car. We'll wash,
polish. wax and detail. Experts will be there to help
you get your paint looking like new. Learn how to
remove swirl marks, sap, and protect your finish and
leather interior. Check the

Wine Tasting. We'll take a tour of local wineries
(Tennessee or Arkansas) and stop for lunch or dinner
along the way. Check
