All:

I just signed up for The Heart of Dixie DE at Barber Motorsports Park.

It will be held on May 29 - 30

It's well worth the money in seat time!!

http://www.heartofdixiede.info/

Let's try and get a group together... anyone interested?

PS.  I'm in the process of going to the dark side.

I am having a 87 Porsche 944 Turbo inspected out in California. Hoping to pull the trigger this week.

Very interested. I've been wanting to go to Barber for quite some time, especially to see the museum they have there. Coupling that with a bit of track time sounds awesome!

I really want to do this. My new track rims should be here in time for this as well! Let me know if you sign up for this and I will as well!

I am signed up for the BMW May DE!!

I am heading down this Friday for the Porsche DE. Hooked up with a 944 owner.
Everyone is super nice. I have been offered a ride....even a trailer to go pickup the car...

but not a co-driver, Hint Hint Greg!!

DE are great fun!!

Here is a link to some maps.

http://www.barbermotorsports.com/track-maps.php  (How do you attach a pdf?)

You get a instructor, so you learn a lot.

That's what I'm looking for.

Lets go. Tell me when. I'm in for the co-driver spot.  Wasn't sure which map you wanted to show.  Here's one:

I'll be at the PCA DE and probably the HoD one as well with the M3. It's all set for I-Prepared. I'm getting my annual tech on Friday and if all goes well the first race will be at the end of March at Barber.

Got back From Barber Porsche DE Sunday.
Had a great time... Everyone was super nice.

Had a taste of the track in a Boxster S and a 02 Corvette. Am hooked even more now!
Jim luck out and rode in a 04 911 Turbo AWD!
I'll try and post some pictures

I did buy the 944!
Hope to get it next week.

I posted a few minutes of video from one of the sessions. I'm in the Lotus though since the M3 was having issues. Grats on your 944! You going down for PBOC?

I am signed up and intend to take the shark for a ride. Hard to keep up with your M3's but grin producing. Did Road Atlanta in October and had a blast. Look forward to the camaraderie.

Very Cool

2 people = a convoy ????  Anyone else yet????

It was a good day this week....kind of

944 came in on the truck!!!

The radiator bracket was damage!!!

I have the radiator out right now...waiting for some hoses,  don't think it will be a big deal.

This thing is/will be a track dog... I think mechanically is in great shape.

Coilovers, big brakes, new clutch, alternator, water pump, baffled oil pan, chip, new big turbo (300+ hp).

Still going though it.  Paint’s not great.  Couple body panel issues (Track dog).

Here's a little stunt driving I did in the Lotus at the DE. My M3 is still being put back together.

That club runs some fun events. Too bad it was so rainy...
