Are there any local, skilled tuners familiar with BMWs? My IP E36 is almost set, but I put it on the dyno last week and it's running very lean. I need to get it tuned and I'd rather not trailer it to Atlanta if possible. Any ideas?

John over at Alpine has skills. Check him out at: http://www.alpineautoworks.com. He is located off of Whitten Road in the Bartlett/Memphis area.

I ended up going with The Racer's Market (http://www.racersmarket.net/). They were spoken of pretty highly on the bimmerforums and the tech was willing to drive to B'ham to do the tune. We'll see how it turns out.

So you went to Birmingham? How'd it go? There are 2 BMW specialists in the area, but neither have a dyno in house for tuning. Memphis Motor Works and Alpine like Ben said. In house dynos include Dynospeed, Extreme Auto, and I think there is one down off Shelby Drive but I can't remember the name.
