Location: Suburban Benton | I have completely neglected my duties and responsibilites to the Arkansas Bimmer community. I will correct that right now!
I will host a Bimmer get together at my house in Benton on June 26th. Nothing fancy. Bring your own drinks. I'll supply burgers and dogs and fixins. All I ask is that you post up here so I can get a close head count the week before. I'll get us an agenda of some sort, maybe a show n shine thing at the local Sonic beforehand or something. Basically just getting us Bimmerheads together to bench race and consume mass quantities of specially brewed elixers.
Let me know what you all think! As we get closer I'll get everyone directions to my place and contact information.

I was hoping to go up to the autocross this weekend, but I was 'gently' reminded that we have the neighborhood garage sale this weekend.

Location: Suburban Benton | Excellent! I know of a couple of local Bimmer guys who run with the SCCA and I'm sure they'll be part of this too. There is a local autocross at WMS on the 27th so it could be a good warm up for that as well. |

I may have to show up at WMS, if only just to watch and hang out with other gear heads. |

Location: Collierville | Joe, you're in luck. Due to the severe weather forecast, the chapter autocross has been postponed. We're now shooting for May 22.
As for the get together, I may try to swing it. Benton ain't too far from my inlaws in Hot Springs Village. We shall see as it gets closer!

Watch out Bud, my wife loves RX-7's, she may try to hot wire it and take off with it!
I need to find my old motorcycle helmet now. |

Location: Suburban Benton | We escaped any problems last night. One of my racing associates wasn't so lucky out in East End. They are all OK but the garages took a big hit and their personal vehicles are all messed up. Spring in Arkansas is pretty tough sometimes! Hopefully our bretheren over in Memphis are faring OK today.

Location: Cabot, AR | I listened to the Arkansas Highway Patrol scanner last night, lots of activity, some tornados south and north of Little Rock. Too bad about your friends' cars.
We were spared most of the damage up here in Cabot.

Location: Suburban Benton | Everything is still a go for a get together at my place on the 26th! I'll get the proper info submitted to the club by Friday. I can/will send directions by PM. This will be nothing more than a hot dog/burger grilling affair along with Bimmer and sports car talk. After a few brews we may even start taking the project car apart! |

Start time 4 PM.
Directions: From I-30 take the Alcoa Road exit (exit 121) and go south on Alcoa Road. Turn right onto Northshore and proceed west. Take a right onto Carwin. We are at the corner of Brookwood and Carwin on your left. I'll have the POS-7 and my blue POS Bimmer track toy in the driveway easily visible.

We'll add something else to the schedule for September/October so stay tuned. This will involve driving somewhere so, James, I'll need some club assistance in the way of proper paperwork.
And the look on Ann's face when I fired up the POS-7 was priceless!!!!!!
